In this 40+ degree weather, Irené and I do our walking in the mall. The display of flipflops called out to me….
Later, happily spending a gift certificate to Mastermind, I came across this table hockey game. Wrong team though…..

I can tell our neighbour’s cat is getting older….he just hangs out on our deck, sleeping. Here he just woke up as I took the photo; when I saw him stretched out among the herbs and hosta, I thought he looked like he was already in the next life, taking it easy among the lushness.
We’re moving soon so I think it’s fair to post one more pic of him…
P.S. He’s not a Manx; he lost his tail in a car accident.

Will be driving by this church many times this summer—it’s on the way to the camp where Lucy works. A classic Ontario building, it stands quite close to the road, surrounded by fields. The original cornerstone is dated 1847.
